The prize-giving ceremony brought the curtain down on the 2026 edition, titled <strong>\u201cCoast to Coast\u201d <\/strong>for its route which, starting from the Adriatic coast at Riccione, reached the Tyrrhenian Sea at Forte dei Marmi before continuing on to Modena for the final finish.<\/p><p>After the day of registration in Riccione and the opening evening at Villa Des Vergers, the <strong>first stage<\/strong>, starting and finishing in Riccione, passed through the Republic of San Marino, San Leo, Pennabilli, the Passo della Cantoniera, Urbania and Urbino. The city of Raphael hosted lunch at the Galleria Nazionale delle Marche, before the first Grand Prix at the Misano World Circuit, which concluded the day\u2019s sporting programme.<\/p><p>The <strong>second stage<\/strong>, from Riccione to Florence, opened with the second Grand Prix at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola, followed by lunch at the Museo Checco Costa. The route then continued across the Apennines, taking in Castel del Rio, Monte Faggiola and the Passo della Sambuca, until the cars arrived at Mugello. The Gala Soir\u00e9e took place in the heart of Florence, at the Cattedrale dell\u2019Immagine.<\/p><p>The <strong>third stage<\/strong>, from Florence to Forte dei Marmi, began with the final Grand Prix at the Mugello Circuit and lunch on its iconic terrace. The crews then passed through Scarperia, Capannori, San Rocco and Isola Santa, in the heart of the Garfagnana, before reaching Forte dei Marmi, the pearl of Versilia. The day ended by the sea with the traditional Beach Party at the Bambaissa Beach Club.<\/p><p>The <strong>fourth and final stage<\/strong>, from Forte dei Marmi to Modena, featured four Special Stages and passed through Massa, the Passo del Vestito, Careggine, Vagli and Barga, with lunch at the Renaissance Il Ciocco Resort. The route then continued towards Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, the Passo delle Radici, Frassinoro and Sassuolo, to the final finish in Piazza Roma in Modena, where the prize-giving took place. The closing evening was hosted in the Palazzo Ducale, home of the Modena Military Academy.<\/p><p><strong>Sporting results<\/strong><\/p><p>In the <strong>Regularity classification,<\/strong> two Jaguars took to the podium after four days of competition decided by tenths of a second between the three crews honoured in Modena. <strong>Herman and Michel Foucart, in a 1953 Jaguar XK120<\/strong>, finished first, ahead of Pascal Deleuze and Laurent Gori, second in a 1963 Renault Dauphine 1093. Third place went to Mike and Carolyn Sheehan, in a 1962 Jaguar E-Type.<\/p><p>In the <strong>Competition classification for group D\/E\/F,<\/strong> reserved for cars built up to 1965, <strong>Charlie and Olly Birkett <\/strong>won in an<strong> AC Shelby Cobra 289<\/strong>. Marcus Anderson and Nicola Arena took second place in a 1962 Jaguar E-Type, while Kevin and Lee Jones completed the podium in a 1962 Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta.<\/p><p>In the <strong>Competition G\/H\/I group<\/strong>, reserved for historic cars built from 1966 onwards, victory went to <strong>Florian Feustel and Katrin Becker in a 1973 Porsche 911 RSR<\/strong>. Glenn and Conrad Janssens took second place in a Ferrari 308 GTB \u201cMichelotto\u201d, followed by John Yates and Alexander Lee, third in a Porsche 911 RS.<\/p><p>Alongside the main classifications, the Modena Cento Ore traditionally also awards the <strong>Index of Performance<\/strong>, the ranking that takes into account the different eras and characteristics of the cars through a correction coefficient based on age and performance. First place was won by <strong>Timm Peter Meinrenken and Klaus Masuch in an Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA<\/strong>, ahead of Allan and Evan Thom, second in a Ford Lotus Cortina. Third place went to Gaby von Oppenheim and Claudia H\u00fcrtgen, also in an Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA.<\/p><p><strong>Special awards<\/strong><\/p><p>Among the honours awarded in the 2026 edition, the <strong>Ladies\u2019 Cup<\/strong> was won by crew number 30, made up of <strong>Gaby von Oppenheim and Claudia H\u00fcrtgen, in a 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA.<\/strong><\/p><p>The <strong>\u201cMechanical Miracle\u201d<\/strong> award was presented to <strong>Team Raceline<\/strong> for getting car number 49 back into the race after a whole night\u2019s work at the end of the third stage, during which the team even sourced spare parts from Switzerland.<\/p><p>As for the <strong>team classifications,<\/strong> victory in the Competition went to <strong>Team Formula GT<\/strong>, while in the Regularity it was <strong>Team GTO Engineering<\/strong> that prevailed.<\/p><p><strong>Other special awards<\/strong><\/p><p>The winner of the GP classification was number 42, Mr. John of B and Sibel, in a 1971 Mantra MS650.<\/p><p>The winner of the Special Stages classification was number 48, Florian Feustel and Katrin Becker, in a 1973 Porsche 911 RSR.<\/p><p>The winner of the Average Trials classification was number 98, Pascal Deleuze and Laurent Gori, in a 1963 Renault Dauphine 1093.<\/p><p>The winner of the Time Trials classification was number 96, Herman and Michel Foucart, in a 1953 Jaguar XK120.<\/p><p>The <strong>winners for each period<\/strong> were:<\/p><p>Period E: Nicola Von D\u00f6nhoff and Haarmann Alexis, in a 1961 Ferrari 250 SWB Competizione<br \/>Period F: Charlie and Olly Birkett, in a 1965 AC Shelby Cobra 289<br \/>Period G: Bernhard Laber and Lukas Stojetz, in a 1971 Alfa Romeo 1750 GTAm<br \/>Period H: Florian Feustel and Katrin Becker, in a 1973 Porsche 911 RSR<br \/>Period I: Glenn and Conrad Janssens, in a 1980 Ferrari 308 GTB \u201cMichelotto\u201d<br \/>Period J: Nicolas Leroy-Fleuriot and Adrien Audibert, in a 1985 Lancia Rally 037<\/p><p><em>\u201cThe Modena Cento Ore is a truly demanding challenge<\/em> &#8211; said <strong>Luigi Orlandini, Chairman and CEO of Canossa<\/strong>, who organises the event together with Scuderia Tricolore &#8211; <em>but every year, when I see the crews arriving in Piazza Roma, they all look extremely happy with the experience they have completed, regardless of the final standings. Perhaps this is the secret of the event\u2019s success: the joy of sharing, with so many other gentleman drivers, both a passion for motors and speed and the goal of crossing the finish line together after one hundred hours of racing, in the magnificent setting of Piazza Roma.
