This intense rivalry made every victory a significant achievement.<\/p><p>Equally thrilling was the post-1966 class, characterized by three years of intense competition.\u00a0In 2016, Porsche dominated with the <strong>Carrera 3.0 RS<\/strong>, which, despite a tough battle, managed to outpace two high-performing 911 Carrera RSRs. The following year, 2017, brought a shift in the rankings as two <strong>Ferrari 308 GTB4 Michelottos<\/strong> emerged as the clear front-runners, leaving little room for the <strong>Ferrari 365 GTB4 Competizione<\/strong>.<\/p><p>In 2018, Porsche returned to the forefront with the <strong>911 SC<\/strong>, triumphing over a magnificent <strong>Lancia Stratos<\/strong>, while the Ford <strong>Escort RS<\/strong> finished further behind.<\/p><p>The 1950s Sports Car Class, filled with unique charm, showcased epic duels\u2014most notably between two <strong>Maserati 250S<\/strong> cars, masterpieces of the Trident brand, and the legendary <strong>Jaguar C-Type<\/strong>, a Le Mans winner.<\/p><p>The introduction of an age-adjusted classification, based on the cars\u2019 year of manufacture, brought several surprises. Historically and technically significant models such as the <strong>BMW 328 Roadster<\/strong>, the <strong>Austin Healey 100\/4<\/strong>, and the <strong>Ferrari 212 Export<\/strong> managed to secure the top spot on the podium in at least one of the editions between 2016 and 2018.<\/p><p>Even in the Regularity category, excitement abounded. Porsche, entering less aggressive models like the 914 and 356 B, as well as a cautiously-driven Shelby Cobra, had to contend with true collector icons such as the sharp Ferrari Dino and the legendary Ferrari 250 GTO\u2014an emblem of its era and the eternal dream of every
