Modena Cento Ore 2006, 2007 and 2008: the Italians begin to make an appearance, but the top step of the podium remains out of reach

The dominance of well-prepared American and British models continues.

April 29, 2025: In 2006, it’s the Shelby Cobra GT3 that leads the pack, though an Alfa Romeo GTA manages to shake things up by securing third place, not far behind the Jaguar E-Type, which finishes second. In the second group, the Porsche Carrera takes the lead, ahead of the Porsche 911 RS and a Ferrari Daytona. No surprises in the regularity section, with three Porsches topping the standings.

In 2007, the Jaguar E-Type claims victory, ahead of two fierce competitors from the Ford family: the Mustang and the Shelby GT. In the second group, the BMW 328 Roadster works hard to stay ahead of a striking Alfa Romeo 1900 Zagato and a no-less-determined Lancia Aurelia B20.
In the regularity section, a stylish Jaguar XK 120 breaks into Porsche territory – a true display of British elegance.

2008 sees a powerful comeback from the nimble Lotus Elan, which outpaces the more powerful Jaguar E-Type and Shelby Mustang. In the second group, the BMW 328 confirms its dominance, while in the regularity category, a Ferrari 275 GTB makes a welcome appearance – the “filling” in a sandwich of two Porsche 911s. A result sure to put a smile on Stuttgart’s face.

Registrations are now open, and grids are as usual limited to 100 cars.
