On October 7, the Modena Cento Ore weaves together racing thrills and unique atmospheres. The day opens at the Autodromo dell’Umbria in Magione, the stage of GP2, where free practice and the race fuel the challenge, testing both crews and cars on a technical and demanding track.
After the intensity of the circuit, the route offers a convivial pause with a castle lunch, surrounded by vineyards and landscapes that tell the most authentic soul of Umbria.
The race then continues toward Cortona, an ancient Etruscan city overlooking the magnificent Val di Chiana like a terrace. Its thousand-year-old walls, medieval alleys, and Renaissance palaces welcome the parade of cars in an atmosphere that intertwines archaeology, art, and Tuscan charm. The sporting program resumes with Special Stage 3 and Special Stage 4, which reignite the road competition and keep the racing tension alive.
The stage finish is set in Arezzo, a city of gold and poetry. The birthplace of Piero della Francesca, rich in Renaissance masterpieces, welcomes participants with its monumental squares and frescoed churches, offering a backdrop that unites elegance and history. From here, the transfer leads to Florence, where the evening opens in the heart of the city that symbolizes the Renaissance.
