Florence, a Modena Cento Ore Tradition

Between Imola and Mugello, Florence welcomes the crews for an evening that has become an integral part of the event's identity over the years.

July 22, 2026: Over the years, Florence has become one of the defining landmarks of Modena Cento Ore. The city has long been part of the route designed by Canossa Events, offering competitors a distinctive interlude within the programme without breaking the rhythm of the competition.

Following the Special Stages and the on-track action at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola, on Thursday 8 October the cars will head to Mugello Circuit, where they will remain overnight. The crews will instead travel by shuttle to Florence for the traditional Gala Dinner in the heart of the city, before returning to Mugello the following morning to resume the Coast to Coast route that began in Riccione.

Positioned between the Imola stage and the challenge of Mugello, the Florentine evening has become far more than a scheduled stop. For many crews, it is one of the moments they look forward to most each year: an opportunity to come together, reflect on the opening days of competition and share the unique atmosphere that has made this gathering one of the enduring traditions of Modena Cento Ore.

The following morning, the focus shifts back to the track. From Mugello Circuit, the competition resumes with practice sessions and races before the final Special Stages lead the field across Tuscany to the overnight halt in Forte dei Marmi.
