MODENA CENTO ORE 2026: DAY 1 – 7 OCTOBER

BETWEEN SEA, MOUNTAINS AND A CIRCUIT THAT HAS SHAPED GREAT DRIVERS, THE START OF THE MODENA CENTO ORE WAS ALL ABOUT THE TRUEST PASSION!

7 October 2026 – Piazzale Roma in Riccione, just a few metres from the sea, was the setting this morning for the official start of the Modena Cento Ore. Luigi Orlandini, Chairman and CEO of Canossa Events, flagged the cars away. The 100 crews headed for San Marino. The ancient independent republic perched on Mount Titano provided the backdrop for a parade within its historic walls. The group then tackled the first two special stages, in a fairytale setting in the Apennines with views over the Adriatic Sea: at San Leo and – having crossed into the Marche region – at Urbania, before lunch in Urbino, one of Italy’s capitals of art and the birthplace of Raphael.

In the afternoon, the Misano World Circuit took centre stage for the first on-track race of the 2026 edition. Beneath the blue Romagna sky, the crews pushed the performance of their historic cars to the limit, battling it out by tenths of a second.

Victory at the “Marco Simoncelli” circuit went to the Matra MS650 of Mr. John of B and Sibel, while both special stages were dominated by Team Raceline, made up of Florian Feustel and Katrin Becker in a Porsche 911 RSR.

The podium in the Day 1 Competition standings is therefore:

  1. Florian Feustel / Katrin Becker – Raceline
  2. John Yates / Alexander Lee – RYR Team
  3. Glenn Janssens / Conrad Janssens – Trafilroad Rally Team

The Regularity standings, meanwhile, are as follows:

  1. Peter Goossens / Arno Walravens
  2. Herman Foucart / Michel Foucart
  3. Beat Roethlisberger / Thomas Roethlisberger

Tomorrow, 8 October, the drivers will leave Riccione early for the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola. After the second race on the Santerno circuit, the teams will head for Tuscany. In Florence, the gala evening will be held at the Cattedrale dell’Immagine, a unique venue that houses timeless masterpieces. It will be another day to remember.
