6 October 2026 – And so the 2026 edition of the Modena Cento Ore got under way. Splendid classic cars, spanning the 1930s to the 1980s, have arrived in Riccione from all over the world to take part in a one-of-a-kind event. 26 nations are represented, including faraway countries such as the United States, Argentina and Australia.
Residents, tourists and enthusiasts were able to admire the exceptional paddock in Piazzale Roma while the crews completed registration and scrutineering, covering both technical and sporting checks. In effect, this was the final set-up before the start of the race, scheduled for tomorrow morning.
The opening evening of the Cento Ore was held at Villa Des Vergers, a historic 17th-century villa, in a spirit of conviviality, with the crews comparing notes on the tests that await them. They were welcomed by Luigi Orlandini, Chairman and CEO of Canossa Events.
Tomorrow, Wednesday 7 October, the rally gets under way: in the morning, the route heads for Urbino via San Marino, Pennabilli and Urbania. There are two special stages, at San Leo and Urbania.
In the afternoon, the gates of the Misano World Circuit will open for the first circuit race, which will conclude with an aperitif-style BBQ dinner and Piadina Romagnola. An exhilarating day to follow live here.
