MODENA CENTO ORE 2026: DAY 3 – 9 OCTOBER

After the magnificent gala evening at the Cattedrale dell’Immagine in Florence, this morning the competitors tackled the Mugello Circuit and two special stages in the heart of the autumn-clad Garfagnana. The evening finish concluded the coast to coast, but not the journey

9 October 2026 – The commanding braking zones of the Mugello Circuit opened the third day of the Modena Cento Ore. For the experts and track enthusiasts, it was the last chance to prove their worth and improve their standings.

In the G-H-I group, victory went to the Matra MS650 of Mr. John of B and Sibel, who tamed the spirited Ferrari 308 GTB Michelotto of the team made up of Philipp Bruwiler and René Risi and the Porsche 911 RSR of Team Raceline (Florian Feustel and Katrin Becker).

Shaking up the overall standings in the D-E-F group was the Pursuit Racing Ford GT40, which ran into a mechanical problem on the formation lap. The chequered flag saw victory for the Jaguar E-Type of Jon Minslaw and Katarina Kyvalova. Charlie and Olly Birkett took second place in an AC Shelby Cobra 289, while Michiel and Karen Campagne climbed onto the third step of the podium in a Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport.

In the afternoon, the open-air museum that is the Modena Cento Ore headed for the Tyrrhenian Sea, with two very challenging intermediate stages: the special stages of San Rocco and Isola Santa. Among the mountains of the Garfagnana, the fastest was, once again, the Porsche 911 RSR of Team Raceline, made up of Florian Feustel and Katrin Becker. All the special stages so far (six to this point) have been won by the German crew.

With one day to go until the finish, the overall Competition standings read as follows:

  1. Florian Feustel / Katrin Becker – Raceline
  2. Glenn Janssens / Conrad Janssens – Trafiroad Rally Team
  3. John Yates /Alexander Lee – RYR Team

While the Regularity standings are made up as follows:

  1. Herman Foucart / Michel Foucart
  2. Pascal Deleuze / Laurent Gori
  3. Mike Sheehan / Carolyn Sheehan

In the evening, the seafront of Forte dei Marmi welcomed the 100 splendid cars: the teams have thus completed the coast to coast. But the journey continues: tomorrow will be the time for the final special stages, Apennine passes and the closing parade in the capital of the Motor Valley that gives the race its name: Modena!
