September 8, 2022: Villa Des Vergers, also called the ‘little Versailles’ of Rimini, will be the site of a special lunch on Tuesday, October 4. Drivers of the Modena Cento Ore 2022 Edition are sure to thoroughly enjoy this regenerating break from the race.
The enchanting neoclassical-style mansion and its grounds, located in San Lorenzo in Correggiano, cover an area of about 3,000 square meters. The historic villa, whose origins date back to the 17th century, presents different styles from different moments in time. In 1843, it was purchased by Parisian nobleman Marie Joseph Adolph Noël Des Vergers, an Etruscologist, man of culture and scholar of the classics. Thanks to his guidance, the mansion in Rimini’s hills became a point of reference for artists and politicians of the time.
The splendid park surrounding the estate is adorned by a large fountain, statues, pathways, ponds, as well as a gorgeous citrus trees orchard.
