22 September 2026 – On Friday 9 October, Modena Cento Ore leaves Florence for Mugello Circuit, the setting for the final circuit encounter of the 2026 event. Once again, the morning places the sporting contest firmly centre stage, with speed, racing lines and concentration defining a moment that carries an added emotional significance. It is the crews’ final opportunity to go head-to-head on a circuit before the competition enters its concluding phase. After lunch overlooking the track, the cars resume their journey towards Scarperia.
The 14th-century town, renowned for its tradition of knife-making and fine craftsmanship, leads the Cento Ore into the landscape of Mugello ahead of Special Stages 5 and 6. The competitive pressure remains high, but the surroundings change once again as the route descends towards the Tyrrhenian coast and carries the crews to Forte dei Marmi.
The evening belongs to Versilia. The Beach Party at Bambaissa Beach Club offers a welcome moment to unwind after an intense day, with the sea providing the backdrop to one of the Cento Ore’s most distinctive lifestyle occasions. It is a chance to come together, share the experiences of the day and leave the pressures of competition behind for a few hours, knowing that the following morning brings the final run towards Modena.
Saturday 10 October begins in Forte dei Marmi with the decisive day ahead. After the parade through Massa and Special Stage 7, the Cento Ore reaches Castelnuovo Garfagnana and heads into the Apennine landscape. Special Stages 8 and 9 define a phase in which every kilometre carries greater weight, before lunch in the hills around Barga offers a brief respite ahead of the final timed section of the event.
Beyond Barga, the anticipation of the finish becomes tangible. The final Special Stage brings the timed competition on the road to a close, while the passage through Sassuolo takes the Cento Ore into the Motor Valley. After days of road sections, circuit racing, Special Stages and the inevitable challenges encountered along the route, Modena represents far more than the final destination: it is the point at which the entire journey comes together.
The final arrival and prize-giving mark the moment the entire week has been building towards. For the crews, reaching Modena means completing a challenge that has demanded consistency, concentration and the ability to respond right to the final kilometre. The closing evening at the Accademia Militare then takes the Cento Ore beyond competition, in the heart of the city from which the event takes its name, for one final moment together at the end of a journey that began four days earlier on the Adriatic.
