Modena Cento Ore 2025: Day 0, Sunday, October 5th

As the saying goes, all roads lead to Rome, and for the 25th Anniversary Edition of Modena Cento Ore, this has never been more true. The opening day of the 2025 edition was a true celebration of automotive passion and beauty.

October 5, 2025: The long-awaited day has finally come. One hundred and ten crews from twenty-one countries around the world have gathered in Rome for the 25th Anniversary Edition of Modena Cento Ore. All the ingredients for a truly memorable “Cento Ore” are in place: five legendary circuits  (Vallelunga, Magione, Mugello, Misano, and Imola) across five exciting days to fully express the performance and spirit of these extraordinary cars, along with breathtaking locations, great enthusiasm, and an incredible grid of competitors.

The morning of October 5th offered a spectacular start: an exceptional paddock and a wave of fans filled the beautiful setting of Villa Borghese, along Via delle Magnolie. The exhibition of the cars in the park’s elegant atmosphere was simply iconic, the refined beauty of the racing machines blending perfectly with the lively energy of Rome’s green heart.

After the accreditation process and the technical and sporting checks, which officially kicked off the 2025 edition, the participants took to the streets in the afternoon for a parade through Rome’s historic center. Driving through dramatic architecture, picturesque neighborhoods, and world-famous landmarks such as the Colosseum, the Baths of Caracalla, Gianicolo Hill, and the Altare della Patria, the procession created a majestic spectacle, where the roar of engines was framed by the excitement and admiration of onlookers.

In the evening, following the drivers’ briefing, Luigi Orlandini, Chairman and CEO, welcomed participants to the Campidoglio, near the magnificent Terrazza Caffarelli, for a dinner overlooking the breathtaking skyline of the Eternal City, a moment of joy and camaraderie shared by all. In the same setting, Augustin Sabatié-Garat, Director of Sales EMEA at RM Sotheby’s, the Presenting Sponsor of the event, also addressed the guests.

Tomorrow, Monday, October 6th, the green light will mark the beginning of the first of five thrilling days on track and special stages. The journey begins early, heading to the Piero Taruffi Circuit in Vallelunga for free practice, qualifying sessions, and races. The day continues with two special stages before reaching Assisi in the afternoon, promising a spectacular start to this unforgettable adventure.
